Coconut kefir is the natural fermented drink obtained by fermenting coconut water, along with living cultures denominated “kefir grains bacteria”, sometimes adding extra ingredients such as egg shells, or dry raisins for their important mineral intake, who facilitates the process of fermentation; it can be flavoured with a variety of fruits, and it can be sweet or acidic just adjusting the levels of sugars.
