To be honest, the “not-yet-award-winning” homemade pastry opens the doors only to the visitors of the blog.
We take you to explore our first photographic experience … in a different way, taking you into our dining room, at home.
Straight from the dining table, we have set-up an outstanding photo-studio !
why do we do this?
As a gift to our audience we are giving away some of the best food, and cocktail recipes of our pastry chef and our guest bartenders! in the house today we have Francesco…
we photograph, and we try to better learn the food photography the modern way, playing with shadows and making it all funny and enjoyable to the eye.
Francesco Antoniello is a good friend of us ! Chef of the “Baglioni hotel” in London.
We worked alongside, at four and six hands, with him to make the first and very original tart made of saffron fruit, strawberries and blueberries !!
The cake ingredients are as follows:
500 g flour
250 g butter
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
250 g icing sugar
1 small bag of saffron powder !!
Have fun exploring the images of the steps of our adventure ended at Holland Park, in Notting Hill … where we enjoyed an Edwardian picnic, or at least this was the intent !!
